Abstract
Urban leftover spaces—residual plots, edge zones, and underused fragments of the built environment—are increasingly targeted for inclusive urban regeneration. This study investigates whether Big Five personality traits shape residents’ preferences for leftover space regeneration, using a survey of 2,000 residents across 13 districts of Hangzhou, China.
